Jim works with executives, founders, and entrepreneurs to ensure they achieve growth and trust reliable operations. As a seasoned and effective financial and operational leader with 20+ years of experience, he enjoys working with a diverse set of companies ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 500 entities. Prior to joining 2Go Advisory Group, he was the founder of Wisdom Financial Partners and consulted with many small to mid-sized companies, fostering their financial and operational success. Jim uses his experience, business acumen, finance/accounting knowledge, leadership experience, and problem-solving abilities to create tremendous success for start-up and early-stage clients across numerous industries.
Prior to his consulting career, Jim enjoyed 15+ years of executive Finance and CFO roles and has led Finance, Accounting, HR, and IT departments; excelling at leveraging technological solutions. Jim has experience writing operational manuals and building models, forecasts, reports, and budgets for dozens of business entities. His clients count on him to tackle any topic or challenge with his positive attitude and problem-solving abilities.
Jim earned his dual bachelor’s degree in economics and philosophy from Radford University and holds his MBA (with a concentration in Strategic Management and Organizational Development) from the University of Colorado. He volunteers with Junior Achievement (teaching math and business to high school students) and has served on numerous boards as Director, Treasurer, and Finance Chair.
