Jennifer Hotes is a Partner in the CFOs2GO division of the 2Go Advisory Group. As senior finance and people operations leader, she helps businesses and business leaders maximize the growth and success of startup ventures. During the past 20+ years, she has built and managed effective finance, accounting, operations and HR infrastructure for a number of high-growth tech companies and startups
Prior to joining the 2Go Advisory Group, she was the founder and CEO of Diablo Business Group, a consulting group focused on putting business and process strategies into practice. Highlights include leading U.S. finance and HR for Day Two, a high-growth health startup with headquarters in Tel Aviv, Israel and building out the finance and HR infrastructure for Healthrageous Meals, a health startup focused on bringing quality meals to American seniors.
Previously, Jennifer was the VP Finance and People Operations for Captricity, a high-growth machine-learning based tech startup. She helped lead Captricity through a series of successful fundraising efforts, including a $35MM round led by White Mountain and Social Capital. During her tenure as head of HR and People Operations, the team grew from 15 to more than 80 FT employees, on-site in Oakland, CA. Prior to this, she Served as the VP Finance and People Operations for Location Labs, an innovative mobile technology startup focused on location-based services, backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and BlueRun Ventures. She helped take Location Labs from a small, pre-revenue startup through venture capital funding, major product launches with Sprint, AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Telefonica, growing from 20 to 220 people, with $50MM in revenues, and ultimately acquired by security company AVG for $220MM in 2014.
Jen contributes professionally as a global advisor for the How Women Lead Women Leaders of the World program and to her community as an active volunteer with the American Red Cross. As a third generation Californian, she earned her Bachelor's Degree from St. Mary’s College. She served on the Finance Committee and was School Board President for two terms for St. Catherine of Siena School. While active in her community, she finds and enjoys time to garden, hike, and adventures with her husband and her two sons.
