Jack Wilson brings over a decade of cross-functional financial leadership to growth-stage and venture-backed companies across fintech, e-commerce, consumer tech, and digital media. As a strategically focused and execution-driven Consulting CFO, Jack helps companies navigate inflection points by leading turnarounds, scaling operations, and guiding capital strategy through periods of transition and growth in both the UK and the US.
His experience spans both interim and embedded leadership roles. He has built finance functions from the ground up, executed management buyouts and divestitures, secured multimillion-dollar equity and debt, and driven profitability in high-burn environments. His approach connects planning to execution by integrating finance with product, operations, and customer insight to drive focus and measurable results.
Jack has worked across a wide range of industries, including consumer products, entertainment, food and beverage, online business and gaming, professional services, retail and eCommerce, social media, and software and technology.
His passion for business performance management began early in his career. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG, he moved into industry and quickly recognized the power of planning and forecasting to translate vision into execution. Whether building zero-based budgets for early-stage startups or enabling board-level scenario planning in high-growth environments, he has consistently used performance planning as a lever to drive alignment, accountability, and impact.
As a Partner in the CFO Division at the 2Go Advisory Group, Jack leads the Business Performance Management practice, helping clients align planning with execution, streamline reporting, and build models that drive clarity and action across the business. With a background in software development, he supports integrations and helps clients choose systems that fit the way the business actually runs without slowing them down.
Jack has also spent time as a founder and operator, co-founding a technology business and leading the app business unit of global digital media company LBG Media PLC. These experiences sharpened his ability to bridge finance with product strategy and customer insight, bringing a fast, commercial lens to his advisory work.
Originally from the UK (Manchester), Jack now resides in San Jose, California. His international perspective and experience allow him to support clients navigating both domestic and global financial landscapes. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the California coast with his wife and still holds out hope of finding a proper pub this side of the Atlantic.
