JERRY JOHNSON VETERAN WIND ENERGY CFO JOINS CFOS2GO AS PARTNER TO ESTABLISH AND LEAD CLEANTECH FINANCE PRACTICE
CFOs2GO, a leading provider of financial expertise on an interim and consulting basis and recruitment for direct hire positions, today announced that Jerry Johnson has joined the firm as a Partner and will develop and lead a Cleantech Financial Practice.
Jerry is an expert in cleantech financial matters and has over 25 years of executive and CFO leadership experience guiding companies through financial and regulatory challenges. Prior to joining CFOs2GO he was CFO at Third Planet Windpower, LLC, Assistant Controller at GWF Power Systems and has held other leadership positions including most recently at Hess Microgen and Digital Generation Systems. His early career was a series of rapid advancements through finance positions at Wheelabrator Technologies.

Jerry will lead the Cleantech practice group at CFOs2GO and also serve as a member of the Financial Modeling and Analysis; Small Business; Startups, Rapid Growth Companies and pre-IPO; Financial Systems & Reporting practice teams. His skill set includes financial analysis of large scale capital projects (including those internally developed, acquired or divested), design and implantation of budget processes and strategic plans, managing the external audit process for public and private entities, monthly management reporting, design and implementation of accounting systems, and corporate compliance for debt covenants, SOX and COSO internal control framework.
Jerry has a BA in Physics and Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and a MBA from the University of Rochester. He is a Certified Management Accountant and a judge for the Cleantech Open accelerator.
