Drew helps clients build efficient operations and effective strategies that accelerate business performance. His more than 25 years of experience leading human resources in large and small organizations in a wide range of industries helps him combine HR best practices and practical insights from behavioral science to build customized solutions to clients—always with a focus on business priorities and results.

Drew brings a data-driven and strategic approach to reduce risk, drive value, and build competitive advantage through the people-practices of his clients. He successfully guides business leaders through:

Drew’s career includes VP or Chief HR Officer roles at Wells Fargo Bank, the YMCAs of Silicon Valley and the East Bay, Litman Gregory Asset Management, and BEI Systron Donner. Drew’s HR acumen is enhanced by his real-world experience in line management, where he won awards as the leader of a 20-person sales and service team, and as a non-profit Executive Director. Drew was awarded the HR profession’s SPHR and SHRM-CP certifications, and for two years he taught the PHR and SPHR certification exam preparation course.

He has an MBA from St. Mary’s College, along with an MA from the University of Wisconsin and a BA from the University of Maryland – both in English Literature. Drew serves on the volunteer board at Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church and provides HR guidance and training to numerous non-profit organizations. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and sons, playing guitar, and golfing.
